Why I'm Running
Meet Tiffanie Arthur
Serving Today. Building Tomorrow.
I’m proud to call Daviess County home.
My story begins as the child of teenage parents. Growing up, I saw firsthand the challenges that families face when they are doing their best to build a better, and more stable life. Those early experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, hard work, and the importance of strong community support systems.
Over the years, I’ve lived in several places, including California, New Mexico, and Georgia, but Daviess County was always the place that felt like home. It’s where my roots are, and it’s the place I chose to raise my own family.
Like many Hoosier families, my path hasn’t always been easy. I became a young mother myself and experienced the challenges of being a single parent. Those experiences taught me determination, responsibility, and the value of perseverance. They gave me a deep understanding of the everyday struggles that many families in our communities face, balancing work, raising children, and trying to build a better future.
Over time, I worked to build a life rooted in service, entrepreneurship, and community involvement. As a small business owner, I understand the hard work it takes to support a family and keep a business running. I’ve also spent years involved in our community, supporting local schools, youth programs, and organizations that strengthen our towns.
Through those experiences, I’ve learned that strong communities don’t happen by accident. They are built by people who care enough to show up, listen, and work together.
That’s why I decided to run for Indiana State Representative.
Too often, rural communities like ours feel overlooked when decisions are made at the Statehouse. I believe the people of District 63 deserve a representative who understands our communities, listens to our concerns, and works to create practical solutions that help our families thrive.
My campaign is about strengthening public schools, supporting small businesses and family farms, improving infrastructure, and making sure rural Indiana has a strong voice in shaping our state’s future.
Most importantly, I believe leadership should be about people over politics, bringing neighbors together, focusing on real issues, and working toward solutions that move our communities forward.
Daviess County and the surrounding communities of District 63 are where my story began, where my family is rooted, and where my heart will always be. I’m running because I believe in the future of our towns and the people who call them home.
